Description
Provides assistance for people who are being evicted from their apartments or other rental property for non-payment by allowing renters to remain in the home long enough to acquire alternative housing and allow landlords to receive payments.

Must have/meet: * Renter living in a Kentucky County outside Jefferson County and Fayette County * Have an active eviction court case for non-payment * Experienced income reduction as a result of COVID-19 * Request must be for the address the renter lives in * Receive no other form of rental subsidy such as Section 8 Housing * Income guidelines * Have not received federally funded Emergency Rental Assistance for the past 12 months

Starting in 2023, HOAF now accepts applicants experiencing indirect COVID-related financial hardships, which are losses of income that the stresses or impacts of COVID contributed to or caused. Eligible hardships must be associated with the coronavirus pandemic but not necessarily caused by an individual becoming ill with COVID-19. Funds will be available until fully expended or September 30, 2025, whichever comes first.
Description
Provides homeowners help with their mortgage and housing-related expenses so they can avoid foreclosure. Qualifying homeowners may receive assistance to repay delinquent mortgage bills, utility payments, insurance premiums, property taxes and homeowner's association fees. Payments will be made directly to the agencies owed.

Description
Offers housing choice vouchers and 100 Housing Choice Vouchers for persons eligible in the 87 counties where Kentucky Housing Corporation serves as the housing authority. Local service providers coordinate referrals and completion of certification checklists.
