Description

Provides an intensive outpatient program to treat substance use disorders in adults. This program is designed for people who need intense, focused treatment but allows them to attend for a shorter number of hours per day compared to partial hospitalization or the 24-hour residential program so that they can still work, go to school full-time, or fulfill family or other commitments.

Description

Evaluates individuals who may have a drug and/or alcohol use disorder to determine the nature and extent of the problem, and makes a recommendation regarding treatment or may refer the person to a specific program. Intake and admission into any Pinnacle Treatment program includes an in-person physical exam, mental health assessment and substance use assessment. The service does not include a centralized triage function within the community or a formal relationship with the courts.

Provides treatment with medications that are approved to help individuals who have opioid or alcohol addiction because the medications ease cravings and help the person to sustain recovery. Medication available includes suboxone as well as off-site prescriptions.

Services include on-site medically assisted detoxification; individual, group and family counseling; a 12-Step program, life skills training, addiction education, recreational therapy, mental health treatment as needed, and referrals to other medical and community resources.

Partial Hospitalization Program

Description

Provides a full day of substance use disorder treatment including individual, group and family therapy, addiction education classes and 12-step meetings but still allows clients to go home at the end of the day to fulfill family, work or other responsibilities. The partial hospitalization level of care is one step down from 24-hour residential treatment.
