              Description

Provides a program for adults with severe mental illness who require care for less than 24 hours per day, but more than outpatient counseling in order to ensure that the person with a psychiatric disability possesses the skills needed to live, learn, and work in his or her own community. Clients stay in a Group Room with access to an outside porch and walking track when not engaged in individual psychotherapy. The services provided encourage exercise and healthy living as well as improving daily living skills such as planning a menu of meals for the month, drawing up a grocery list, cooking and completion of other chores.
