Child Care Assistance Program (CCAP)
Description
Provides subsidies to help families pay and obtain child care that allows parents to work, attend education and training programs and/or participate in the Kentucky Temporary Assistance Program. Child care subsidies are also available for child protective services.

Kentucky Children's Health Insurance (KCHIP) program
Description
Provides free or low-cost health insurance for children younger than 19 years of age without health insurance.

People in mass care shelters are not eligible. If a household continues to need Food Stamp assistance after the certification period, they must apply for the regular Food Stamp program.
Description
Provides food stamp coupons to households who have lost food, income or liquid resources due to a declared disaster in situations where the US Department of Agriculture (USDA) has approved activation of the program. Households are certified for two weeks to a month depending on USDA approvals and must be in a situation where they can purchase and prepare meals.

Kentucky Integrated Health Insurance Premium Payment (KI-HIPP)
Description
Provides a voluntary Medicaid program offered to eligible policyholders to help pay for the cost of an Employer-Sponsored Insurance (ESI) plan. The KI-HIPP program also may provide more healthcare options by providing access to the full traditional Medicaid network and allowing entire families to be on the same health insurance plan.
