Library hours to pick up the Tax Aide intake packet are Mon, Thu 9:00 am-6:00 pm, Tue-Wed, Fri 9:00 am-5:00 pm, Sat 9:00 am-2:00 pm (EST), The packet includes a list of documents which may be required for the tax preparation appointment. The intake packets usually become available in January, 2 to 3 weeks before the start of the tax season.
Description
Provides free tax preparation assistance to anyone with a special focus on taxpayers who are over 50 or have low to moderate income. Tax-Aide volunteers are trained and IRS-certified to ensure up-to-date knowledge of the latest changes and additions to the tax code.

Intake Procedure
Walk-in or use the library's drive-through to pick up the intake packet during regular library hours and leave the taxpayer's name and phone number which should be called in order to schedule the required tax preparation appointment
